How to Apply for FAFSA
To get started, you’ll need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using New Age Training’s school code: 041023.
What You Need to complete the FAFSA:
- Your Social Security Number
- Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
- Your most recent federal income tax returns, W-2s, and records of earned income
- Tip: You may be able to use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import your tax info directly into your FAFSA.
- Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
- Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
- An FSA ID to sign electronically
If you are a dependent student, then you will also need most of the above information for your parent(s).

Financial Aid Options
Federal Pell Grant
- Free money – no repayment required
- Awarded to eligible students based on financial need
Federal Student Loans
All federal loans must be repaid with interest, but repayment typically begins six months after graduation.
If you are terminated or withdrawn from the MA program you will need to begin repaying your loan right away.
- Direct Subsidized Loan
- Based on financial need
- Government pays interest while you’re in school
- Direct Unsubsidized Loan
- Not need-based
- Interest begins accruing immediately
- Parent PLUS Loan
- For parents of dependent students
- Credit check required
💡 All loan recipients must complete both Entrance and Exit Counseling.
Payment Plans
Flexible, Interest-Free Payment Plans
f you’re not eligible for financial aid, you can still enroll in any of our programs including the highly sought-after Medical Assistant (MA) program by choosing one of our flexible, interest-free payment plans.
Don’t have a High School Diploma, GED, or an evaluated foreign diploma?
You may not qualify for federal aid, but that doesn’t mean your education has to wait.

How to Make Payments
You can pay your tuition and fees in full or choose a convenient installment plan. We accept:
Tuition and fee payments can be made by:
- Online Pay by MasterCard or VISA credit card, debit card or enroll in the installment payment plan.
- Mail Make checks payable to “New Age Training” and mail to: New Age Training 145 W. 30th St. New York, NY 10001 Mailed payments must be RECEIVED by the appropriate deadline.
Allow a minimum of 5 days for delivery prior to the deadline.
Write your student ID and Group number on the bottom left of the check. - In Person Pay by cash, personal check, money order, or cashier’s check, MasterCard or VISA credit card or debit card.
- Phone Complete and fax an authorization for credit card payments.
Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds Grant (HEERF)
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, New Age Training applied for and received $297,188 through the HEERF grant on April 30th, 2020.
- Starting May 7, 2020, we invited all eligible financial aid students to apply.
- Grants are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- More than 400 students enrolled by December 30, 2020, became eligible.
- Submission of the application does not guarantee funding, but eligible students will be considered for available grant funds.
