Leaders in Healthcare Training

Each member of New Age Training’s Admissions team is a licensed enrollment specialist who is available to speak and meet with you Monday through Friday. We make the process of becoming a healthcare professional as smooth as possible and right now is an AMAZING time to join the NAT family. Upon completion of any of our programs, students will receive a Certificate of Completion in an NAT customized diploma case and a program pin.

Admissions Hours are as follows:
Monday – Thursday: 9:00 am – 7:00 pm; Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

New Age Training is authorized by the Department of Homeland Security to accept M-1 international students and issue I-20 documents through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

We assist international students in applying for a Student Visa (M-1) to enter the United States through U.S. consulates in their home countries.

Entrance Requirements

Medical Assistant or Clinical Medical Assistant

  • You need to be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, TASC) – Required for Financial Aid Eligibility in the MA Program.

If you do not have a High School Diploma or G.E.D, you can take our free entrance exam for the programs below, available through our admissions team, to begin your healthcare career.

  • Nurse Aide Assistant (CNA)
  • Nurse Aide Advanced
  • Medical Assistant
  • Clinical Medical Assistant
  • Patient Care Technician

Please contact us if you do not have a High School Diploma or G.E.D., and our Admissions Advisor will be happy to discuss the best options for you.

Nurse’s Aide / Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA)

  • You need to be at least 18 years old
  • Physical Examination – This is required in order to be assigned to a long-term care facility for externship – These exams generally include a medical history overview, a physical examination, a tuberculosis test by a PPD implant and a Measles, Mumps and Rubella Titer and/or vaccination, also known as a MMR. Collectively, these tests evaluate medical history and present condition.

Note: After graduation from the Nurse Aide/Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA) program, candidates may be required to undergo a criminal background check as part of the hiring process by a nursing home or hospital. A criminal record may impact a candidate’s eligibility for employment, depending on the policies of the facility and applicable regulations.

Patient Care Technician

  • You need to be at least 18 years old
  • Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, TASC)
  • Valid (not expired) Nurse’s Aide /Assistant NY State Certification (CNA License)
  • If you do not have a CNA License we suggest signing up to take our Nurse Aide Advanced program.

Virtual Online Open House

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education.


CAMPUS SECURITY REPORT

The school prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act). This report is prepared in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies.

Nothing in the law shall be construed to permit a school to retaliate, intimidate, threaten, coerce, or otherwise discriminate against any individual with respect to the implementation of the Clery Act.

Veteran Enrollment and Benefit Policy

New Age Training complies with 38 U.S.C. § 3679(e), which allows eligible Veterans and their dependents to enroll and participate in courses without penalty while awaiting payment from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Eligibility

Veterans who are entitled to educational assistance under:

  • Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment
  • Chapter 33: Post-9/11 GI Bill®

may enroll in programs at New Age Training without being required to:

  • Pay tuition and fees upfront,
  • Be denied access to classes,
  • Be charged late fees or penalties,
  • Or be required to secure alternative or additional funding.
Required Documentation

To qualify for this protection, the student must provide one of the following:

  • A Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for Chapter 33,
  • A Statement of Benefits obtained from the VA’s eBenefits portal,
  • Or a VAF 28-1905 form for Chapter 31 authorization.
Protection Period

This policy applies for the period beginning when the COE or applicable documentation is submitted and ends on the earlier of:

  1. The date payment is received from the VA, or
  2. 90 days after the school certifies the student’s tuition and fees to the VA.

Veterans using Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 benefits can participate in their program without penalty or delay, even if VA funds have not yet been disbursed.
