New York State’s COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate For Health Care Workers

As per the announcement from the New York State Governor’s office, it was mandated that all healthcare workers in New York State, including staff at hospitals and long-term care facilities (LTCF), including nursing homes, adult care, and other congregate care settings, will be required to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Monday, September 27th 2021.

The following programs at New Age Training, Nurse Aide (CNA), Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA), Patient Care Specialist (PCS) and Medical Assistant (MA) all require students to complete a mandatory externship/internship where vaccination is also a requirement according to the vaccination mandate.

In order to meet the requirements of the vaccination mandate, New Age Training requests that all students who are starting programs from October 4th, 2021 will be required to show a proof of vaccination status to New Age Training representatives during a registration as a mandatory entrance requirement. New Age Training will not disclose vaccine status of individual students to any unauthorized personnel.
