Each member of New Age Training’s Admissions team is a licensed enrollment specialist, available to speak and meet with you Monday through Friday. We make the process of becoming a healthcare professional as smooth and supportive as possible and right now is an amazing time to join the NAT family.
Upon completion of any program, students receive a Certificate of Completion, presented in an NAT-customized diploma case, along with a program pin to honor their achievement.

New Age Training is authorized by the Department of Homeland Security to accept M-1 international students and issue I-20 documents through the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).
We assist international applicants in applying for a Student Visa (M-1) through U.S. consulates in their home countries.

Medical Assistant or Clinical Medical Assistant
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, TASC) is required for Financial Aid eligibility
No High School Diploma or GED? No Problem!
You may still qualify by taking our free entrance exam, available through the Admissions Team.
Eligible programs include:
- Nurse Aide Assistant (CNA)
- Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA)
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Nurse’s Aide / Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must complete a Physical Examination required for externship placement:
- Medical history review
- Physical exam
- Tuberculosis (PPD) test
- MMR titer and/or vaccination (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
Note:
Upon graduation from the Nurse Aide/Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Aide Advanced (NAA) program, candidates may be required to undergo a criminal background check as part of the hiring process by a nursing home or hospital.
A criminal record may impact a candidate’s eligibility for employment, depending on the policies of the facility and applicable regulations.
Patient Care Technician
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED (TASC) required
- Must hold a valid New York State CNA Certification

FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. It applies to all schools that receive funds from the U.S. Department of Education.
CAMPUS SECURITY REPORT
In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Act, New Age Training publishes an annual campus security report.
The latest report was published in October 2024.
This report is prepared with assistance from local law enforcement and includes important campus safety information.
Nothing in the law shall be construed to permit a school to retaliate, intimidate, threaten, coerce, or otherwise discriminate against any individual with respect to the implementation of the Clery Act.

Veteran Enrollment and Benefit Policy
New Age Training complies with 38 U.S.C. § 3679(e), which allows eligible Veterans and their dependents to enroll and participate in courses without penalty while awaiting payment from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Eligibility:
- Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation
- Chapter 33: Post-9/11 GI Bill®
Students using these benefits are not required to:
- Pay upfront
- Be denied class access
- Incur late fees
- Seek alternative funding
Required Documentation:
- Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for Chapter 33
- Statement of Benefits from eBenefits portal
- VAF 28-1905 for Chapter 31
Protection Period: Covers the period from when documentation is submitted until:
- VA payment is received, or
- 90 days after certification to the VA
Veterans using Chapter 31 or Chapter 33 benefits can participate in their program without penalty or delay, even if VA funds have not yet been disbursed.
