Can I enroll at New Age Training without a High School Diploma or GED?

Our MA Program requires prospective students to have a High School Diploma or GED. Our other programs (CNA, PCT, HHA, DT) do not require you to have a High School Diploma or GED. Does New Age Training guarantee job placement?

Placement Assistance, which includes preparations for a successful job search and interview begin as early as your first day of class. 

On the other hand, no one should ever be guaranteed a job. We promise placement assistance which consists of guidance and resources afforded to all graduates and alumni whether you are a recent graduate or someone who completed our program 10 years ago.

We provide professional career development classes that are scheduled towards the end of your coursework and will allow students to prepare the tools necessary to complete a portfolio with items such as a Resume and Cover Letter in addition to practicing crucial interviewing skills.

Do I have to pay the tuition all at once?

Payment options are available for all students to assist in either budgeting or financing your education. You will meet with a Financial Aid Representative who will discuss with you all of your options and work with you to determine a suitable installment plan. Learn More

Is Financial Aid available?

Your eligibility for Financial Aid is determined once you visit and speak with a Representative. Learn More

What documents and items are needed?
  • Identification (Driver’s License, State ID, etc)
  • Social Security Card
  • High School Diploma or GED
Do you accept checks, money orders, credit card?

We accept most forms of payment i.e. MasterCard, VISA, credit or debit card, personal check, money order or cashier’s check.

Does New Age Training take vouchers?

We accept vouchers from Workforce1, VESID/ACCES-VR, 1199 and the VA. Call to learn more about these vouchers or find out if you are eligible.

How can I check my grades?

Grades are posted to your NAT Student Report Card on the Student Portal.

Which class do I have this week?

Your weekly classes can be seen on our student portal. The schedule for the current and upcoming week is posted both online and around the school so that you are aware of the room grid and any changes.

Do I have to wear a Uniform?

Students receive and are required to wear scrubs while on campus. All medical students are required to place a high value on personal appearance, including attire. The reasons for wearing scrubs and proper footwear are rooted in concerns for infection control, communication and campus security. These standards for dress and appearance are necessary to meet the service and safety objectives of placing patient welfare first and the educational objectives of preparing the student to assume the role of a healthcare professional. Good personal hygiene is to be maintained at all times Avoid distracting perfumes or colognes (may precipitate allergies or sensitivities).Cosmetics should be used in moderation

 Hair Maintenance:

  • Hair should be neat, clean
  • Hair should be styled off the face and out of the eyes
  • Shoulder length hair must be secured to avoid interference with patients and work
  • Avoid scarves or ribbons (unless culturally appropriate)
  • Beards/mustaches must be neatly trimmed

Jewelry:

  •  Keep jewelry at a minimum (represents potential for cross-infection)

Dress, Shoes, and Hand Care:

  • Clothing should be clean, professionally styled and in good repair
  • Shoes should be worn with socks or hose
  • Fingernails should be clean and of short to medium length

The Following Items Are Specifically Prohibited:

  • Sandals or open toed shoes, high-heeled or canvas shoes (blood or needles may penetrate the fabric)
  • Midriff tops, tee shirts, halter, translucent or transparent tops, shorts or tops with plunging necklines, tank tops or sweatshirts
Do you provide transportation and childcare?

We do not provide transportation and childcare, but can share valuable resources that can guide those in need of these services. We have a Student Coordinator who work in the best interest of the student to provide advice, recommendations and direction throughout their tenure.

When do I graduate?

Upon completion of all of your coursework within the policies and guidelines written in the student handbook, students will graduate and receive a Certificate of Completion from their program of study.

How can I receive a copy of my Transcript?

Pay a fee $15 via our web site http://www.newagetraining.com/make-a-payment/

You can also mail a payment to us or come in person to make a payment at school.

After you submit a payment, send a Transcript Request via email to info@newagetraining.com with your Name and the Mailing Address. Your Official Transcript will be mailed to the requested mailing address within 1-2 business days.

You can also call 212-947-7940 to submit your request and can come to school to pick-up your transcript.

Do you accept International Students? Can I receive a Student Visa to enroll into your School?

New Age Training is authorized by Department of Homeland Security to accept M-1 International students and to create I-20 documents in the SEVIS (Student Exchange Visitors Information System).

New Age Training is assisting International students to request a Student Visa to enter USA at the United States Consulates in the foreign countries. Please contact us via email  info@newagetraining.com for questions and additional information
